Samson Rope

ArborMaster™ - Premium quality 16-strand lines offering a firm, smooth surface for "footlock" and exceptional durability.

Arbor-Plex™ - A light weight, high-strength 12-strand climbing line.  Tough polyester jacket fibers surround a polyolefin center fibers to maximize resistance to wear and fiber fusing.

Tree-Master - A premium 3-strand climbing line made from premium polyester.  It is a 4-stage rope construction identified by an internal blue and an external green strand.

True-Blue™ - A 12 strand premium climbing line made of 100% polyester. 

Velocity - This new 11mm (7/16" dia.) premium, lightweight arborist climbing line will offer tree care professionals quick and easy access to the tops of the trees.  Samson's proprietary "Sure Grip" technology gives the line a fully broken-in feel right out of the bag when it's new.

New England Rope

Safety blue 3 strand - The finest 3-strand climbing rope produced. Each strand is constructed of high tenacity polyester cover yarns securely wrapped around our trademark "Blue" nylon core.  The strands are firmly twisted to resist back turning, abrasion and bouncing, common in most 3-strand climbing lines.  Tough, durable construction, treated with a protective finish minimizes abrasion and maximizes rope life.

Safety Blue High-Vee 3-strand - The same performance qualities and construction as Safety Blue 3-strand but with a high visibility orange-and-white cover pattern.  High-Vee 3-strand stands out in the workplace and can be designated as a critical life safety rope.

Braided Safety blue - Tightly plied, polyester 16-strand cover, offers smooth snag-free surface.  Polyolefin yarns in the core of each cover strand reduce weight and improve handling. Twisted parallel blue core yarns, of "our trademark" core, allow the rope to stay firm and round while in use. It also acts as a "warning flag" if the cover is cut. Tough durable cover treated with a protective finish that minimizes abrasion and maximizes rope life.  A true 1/2" climbing line which is the finest available. The industry standard.

Braided Safety Blue High-Vee - The same performance qualities and construction as Braided Safety Blue but with a high visibility orange-and-white cover pattern. High-Vee stands out in the workplace and can be designated as a critical life safety line.

Braided Safety Blue Ultra-Vee - The same performance qualities and construction as Braided Safety Blue but with a high visibility green-and-white cover pattern.

Safety Pro 12 - Designed for applications where a fixed spliced eye is not necessary. Safety Pro 12 has a unique construction that is easy to knot yet resists flattening and glazing.

Firefly - The Firefly runs through gear effortlessly without getting mushy, and stays round and firm giving the climber a smooth, controlled descent.

Rigging and Work Lines

New England Rope

3 Strand Multiline II - New England's most popular 3-strand Bull Rope.  Composite rope made of polyester yarns wrapped around a core of polyolefin in each strand. Spun polyester is added to the surface for better grip and chafe protection.  Easiest handling, most flexible and strongest composite rope available.  Identified by two orange markers on the surface of one strand.

3 Strand Polyester -  New England's best and strongest 3-strand Bull Rope.  Durable Dacron Polyester offers the most abrasion resistance of any 3-strand.  Tension-set yarns, medium lay and firm round construction assures consistency and longer life.  Holds knots well, can be spliced.

12 Strand Tree Line - Tightly braided, 12-strand rope offers non-hockling, torque-free performance. Higher strength and less stretch than same-size Multiline. Protective finish applied to rope minimizes abrasion and enhances service life.  Excellent knot holding, flexibility and handling in a large-diameter rope.

Industrial Polyester Double Braid -  Polyester double braid offers non-hockling, torque-free construction.  Strongest, low-stretch rope available for Bull Rope applications. Holds knots well, fully spliceable for use as eye and eye sling or endless loop.  Recommended especially for applications where lowering devices are being used.  High strength allows increased safety factors and/or use of smaller diameter lines.
Color coded by diameter for easier size identification.
 

Samson Rope

2-in-1 Coated Stable Braid™ - Our strongest rigging line.  Polyester double braided construction coated with our Samthane Type "A" urethane coating in bright colors. 

Arbor-Plex™ - A light weight, high-strength 12-strand climbing line.  Tough polyester jacket fibers surround a polyolefin center fibers to maximize resistance to wear and fiber fusing.

Pro-Master™ -(White and Black)  A tough, durable, 3-strand rigging rope.  Spun fiber in the cover prevents fusing under heavy load.  A tighter twist and most 3 strand ropes makes it very durable.

Tenex™ - A firm, round braided construction offering high strength, low stretch, and outstanding abrasion resistance.  According to Samson, Tenex is an excellent choice for rigging line and for slings.  Available in single end per carrier construction and a double end per carrier, "sling construction".

Tenex™-Tec - A high strength - low stretch braid polyester rope specifically designed with two strands per carrier to allow higher production splicing for standard slings and Whoopie slings. 

Climbing & Rigging Accessories

Samson Rope

Accessory Cord - Black - This rope is the "utility player" in the Samson arborist line-up.  From throwing lines to tie-downs and pruning pole cords, they have hundreds of uses on any job site.  Please not that Accessory Cords are NOT intended or designed to be used for climbing, rappelling, or rescue ropes.

Amsteel - A 12 strand braided rope made from Dyneema fiber that is Samthane urethane coated orange (if you choose to coat, standard color grey).  It is a very lightweight, strong for its size and can be used as a rigging control or positioning line.

Amsteel Blue - 12 strand single braid construction of HMPE fiber that has Samson's Parallay plying process.  Blue Samthane Type S urethane coating is applied to enhance firmness and wear life while allowing ease of splicing.

Bail Out - A double braid prusik cord with a firm feel, and it offers the ultimate in heat resistance.  Bail out will not melt and offers incredible durability and longevity.

Ice Trail - Ice Tail is a single braided tail with a soft feel.  It's easy to splice and is also heat resistant.  It will not melt or be seared by heat for heat resistant eye and eye tails.

Nylon Starter Cord - General purpose cord with a braided nylon cover and twisted core. Please note that Samson's Nylon Starter Cords are not intended or designed to be used for climbing, rappelling, or rescue ropes.

Prusik Cord - Designed to compliment our existing line of climbing products.  It is a high quality polyester cord that is soft and flexible ability.  It's an economical choice when heat resistance isn't a factor.

Tech 12™ - Samthane coated 12-strand of Technora.  Offers excellent heat resistance with a high price/weight profile.   Well suited for Prusik Loops due to the fiber's excellent heat resistance.  Available with black, red, green or blue Samthane coating.

Tenex™ - A firm, round braided construction offering high strength, low stretch, and outstanding abrasion resistance.  According to Samson, Tenex is an excellent choice for rigging line and for slings.  Available in single end per carrier construction and a double end per carrier, "sling construction".

Treerig™ Sling - Samthane coated Stable Braid spliced with a 6" eye splice on one end.  These slings are commonly used to lash a block in place to establish a false crotch.  Tie block with a cow hitch for best results.

Ultra-Tech™ -A unique double braid with 24-strand out cover of polyester fiber and inner core of technora fiber.  Due to the heat resistance of the Technora fiber, the product is well suited for Prusik Loops.

Vertico - A combination fiber rope with a firm lay, excellent wear and a high strength to weight ratio.  Produced with high strength continuous filament polyester surface yarns, wrapped over high tenacity ultra blue fiber. 

Whoopie™ Sling - Adjustable load rating lifting slings.  The sling has a permanent eye spliced at one end and an adjustable eye at the other end that allows it to adapt to loads of various sizes.  The adjustment allows snug lifting control and minimizes the number of fixed length slings required. 

Zing-It™ - Offers extremely high strength, for pulling down 'hangers'.  Samthane urethane coating allows the line to glide over rough bark while providing excellent abrasion resistance.  The exceptional low stretch allows greater control.

New England Rope

Nylon Accessory Cord - These torque-free cords are designed to complement our dynamic and static ropes.

Tech Cord -  This 5000 lb tensile technora cord is the perfect choice for balancing anchors and slinging chocks and hexes. Our 60m lengths are available for ultra lightweight haul lines and emergency rappel line (when used with a special friction device). Tech Cord should be tied with a double fisherman's knot.

Prusik Cord

Adjustable Lanyard Locking Snaps - Available in 3-strand polyester, 12-strand polyester single braid, or Industrial Polyester double braid.
 

Beranek Lanyard - Available in 3-strand polyester (shown), Industrial Polyester double braid, or Hi-Vee (1/2" only). Easy to adjust length simply by pulling on the "tail."
 

Dynaglide Throw Line - Highly visible snag free throwline made from 100% HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) that is pre-stretched and tensile-set then treated with a vinyl coating. Compact design glides easily over branches allowing lighter throw weights.

Footlock Runner - Available in 3-strand polyester, 12-strand polyester single braid, and Industrial Polyester double braid (shown). Locking snap on 1 end, 11" eye on the other.
 

Prusik Loop - Available in 3-strand nylon, 3-strand polyester, 12-strand DaPro, or polyester double braid.
 

Split Tails - Made from our popular 16-strand climbing ropes.
 

Therma-Shield Prusik - Unique heat-resistant cover of blended Technora and spun Nomex. The Vectran core offers very high tensile and low stretch. Provides dramatically improved performance and safety. Lasts longer than traditional prusiks for improved efficiency.
 

Wire Core Flip Lines - Manufactured from our trademark Hi-Vee cover with plied strands for greater abraison resistance and sure grip of adjusters. Size and construction permit use of most ascenders/adjustors. Unique eye termination helps alleviate pivot point stress for increased service life.

Other Mills Rope

Accessory cord - black and other colors available.  A great rope in the arborist rope line up, however NOT intended for climbing, rappelling or rescue.
